1. Owner and scope
These terms govern access to and purchases made through the Farmacia Barcelona online store, operated by Farmacia Dra. Teresa Castells Soler, tax identification number (NIF) 46221255H, at Passeig de Gràcia 90, 08008 Barcelona, Spain.

By placing an order, the buyer declares that they have been able to consult these terms, the product information, the total price, the shipping policy and the returns policy. No clause limits consumers' mandatory statutory rights.
2. Products and healthcare scope
The store sells cosmetics and other care or wellness products permitted in each active market. Medicines are not sold through this Shopify store. Cosmetic and personal care information does not constitute a diagnosis, prescription or medical treatment.
The labelling, ingredient list, warnings and instructions must be read before using each product. In the event of an allergy, pregnancy, medical treatment, illness, damaged skin or clinical uncertainty, consult a healthcare professional. If an unwanted reaction occurs, stop using the product and contact a healthcare professional and Farmacia Barcelona.
3. Capacity to purchase and accounts
You must have sufficient legal capacity to make a purchase. If you act on behalf of another person or entity, you declare that you are authorised to do so. You are responsible for ensuring that the contact, billing and delivery details provided are accurate and for protecting access to your email and account.
Customer accounts use the authentication methods available in Shopify. You must not attempt to access other people's accounts, disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, extract data without authorisation or use the store for unlawful purposes.
4. Product information, availability and price
We display essential characteristics, contents, prices and taxes with the greatest reasonable care. Images may vary slightly due to screen settings, legitimate packaging changes or manufacturer updates, without affecting the identity and essential characteristics agreed upon.
Prices are displayed in the indicated currency and, for consumers, include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. Shipping charges and any other costs are displayed before payment is confirmed.
Adding a product to the cart does not reserve it. If unavailability or a material error prevents fulfilment of the order, we will contact you without delay to offer an optional alternative or refund the affected amount. We will not replace a product without your acceptance where the replacement changes what was agreed.
5. Purchase process
- Select the products and review the cart.
- Provide or confirm contact, delivery and billing details.
- Select an available delivery option and payment method.
- Review the summary, correct any errors and accept the applicable terms.
- Press the final button that clearly indicates the obligation to pay.
After placing your order, you will receive electronic confirmation on a durable medium. The electronic document is retained in accordance with our legal obligations, and you can consult the available information through your account or request assistance. Contracts are concluded in Spanish and in any other languages that the store actually makes available for the relevant market.
6. Payment
You may use the payment methods displayed during checkout. Processing may currently be carried out through Shopify Payments, PayPal or other methods shown at checkout. Payment providers process the necessary data under their own terms and security measures. Farmacia Barcelona does not receive the full card number where payment is processed directly by these providers.
The order may be subject to reasonable authorisation and fraud prevention checks. If payment is not authorised, the order will not be completed. Any review with significant consequences will be handled in accordance with applicable law, and proportionate additional verification may be requested.
7. Shipping and delivery
Destinations, rates, estimated delivery times, carriers, tracking and in-store collection are governed by the Shipping Policy and specified before payment. The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when they, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the product, except in cases provided for by law.
8. Cancellation, withdrawal, returns and refunds
Cancellations may be requested while the item has not yet been prepared. The right of withdrawal, its exceptions, free return shipping, refund periods and the model form are governed by the Returns and Refunds Policy.
9. Conformity and statutory guarantee
Products must match their description, be fit for their ordinary purpose and meet the applicable conformity requirements. In Spain, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within three years of delivery of the goods. Statutory remedies will be free of charge. Consumers in other countries retain the mandatory protection applicable in their country of residence.
10. Promotions, discounts and reviews
Promotions are subject to their published terms, validity periods, availability and limits. Where a price reduction is announced, the rules on the previous price will apply. Abusive, fraudulent use of codes or promotions, or use contrary to their specific terms, is not permitted.
If the store publishes reviews, it will explain the reasonable measures used to verify whether they come from an actual purchase or experience. Reviews that are false, unlawful, offensive, infringe third-party rights or contain other people's personal data are not accepted. Moderation will not be used to legitimately conceal negative opinions.
11. Intellectual and industrial property
Texts, photographs, designs, trademarks, logos, software and other content belong to their owners or are used with authorisation. You may browse and use the store for personal purposes related to your purchase. Unauthorised reproduction, exploitation or distribution, and any use infringing third-party rights, are prohibited.
12. Website operation and external links
We take reasonable steps to keep the store available and secure, but interruptions may occur for maintenance, security or technical reasons. This does not exclude any liability imposed by law or affect orders already placed.
Links to external services are provided to facilitate features or information. Each third party is responsible for its own service and terms, without prejudice to any liability imposed on Farmacia Barcelona by a mandatory rule.
13. Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. Non-essential cookies and technologies are subject to the consent choices available in the banner or preferences panel.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as a result of legal, technical or operational changes. The version applicable to a purchase is the one accepted when the order was placed; a later amendment does not unilaterally alter a contract already entered into.
15. Governing law, complaints and dispute resolution
You may submit a complaint to info@farmaciabarcelona.com, by telephone on +34 607 16 18 55 or by post to Passeig de Gràcia 90, 08008 Barcelona, Spain.
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protection of their country of residence. Consumer disputes will be submitted to the courts competent under the applicable rules; exclusive jurisdiction in Barcelona is not imposed where the law provides for another jurisdiction.
If a direct complaint is not resolved, we will provide information, where mandatory or appropriate, on the competent alternative dispute resolution body. The former European online dispute resolution platform ceased operating and its Regulation was repealed with effect from 20 July 2025, so no outdated link is included.
