Cosmetics Black Friday: How to buy a routine and not an impulse

An offer is only useful if the product has a clear function, fits into your routine, and you can finish it within its period of use. Before the discount, open your cabinet and decide what you need to restock.

In 30 seconds

  • Take inventory before looking at the discount percentage.
  • Compare function, size, usage method, and PAO.
  • Build a routine with levels: essential, treatment, and optional extras.

Conduct a shelf audit

Separate closed, open, and nearly finished products. Note the function of each and check the PAO symbol. If you already have two serums with the same function, a third offer doesn't complete the routine: it duplicates it.

Essential level: a few clear steps

A base can combine cleansing, moisturizing, and daytime photoprotection. The Rice Moisturizing Cream is a cream option; review the product page and compare it to the texture you already use before buying.

Treatment level: one priority

If the cosmetic goal is firmness or texture, compare formulas instead of accumulating active ingredient names. The Facial serum with DMAE, the Fiflow O2 Boost Serum, and the Facial cream with collagen and elastin occupy different formats and steps. You don't need all three by default.

Check the real price of the routine

Calculate price by size, number of products, and frequency of use. Avoid evaluating only the apparent savings. A shorter routine that you actually finish might make more sense than a large pack with unclear instructions.

Signs that an offer is not for you

Be wary of urgency without clear information, packs where you can't identify each size, and promises that turn a cosmetic function into a guaranteed result. The product page should allow you to decide before paying.

It's also a bad sign if you need to open several identical products to justify the purchase. Keeping one closed might only make sense when its preservation and your actual consumption rate allow it.

  • You don't know the function of one of the products.
  • You already have an open equivalent.
  • The offer forces you to exceed your planned budget.
  • The size or method of use is not clearly stated.

Frequently asked questions

Is a pack always cheaper?

Not necessarily. Check the total price, sizes, and whether you will actually use all the products.

Can I open several serums at once?

You can, but it's not always advisable. Opening one at a time makes it easier to control tolerance, usage, and PAO.

How to compare two offers?

Compare the same size, function, composition, availability, and final cost. The isolated percentage alone doesn't allow for a decision.

Important: discounts, prices, and stock may change. Always verify the product page and your cart before purchasing; no offer turns a cosmetic into a medical treatment.
